That sounds like a great idea! Although it could be something that is easier said than done. It would have to be done to a standard that is realistic and reproduce-able if liked, and that may be hard to do.

I'm just here sharing some ideas, I trust that the graphic design team could work their magic! :)

I agree haha and an a Brand like shockwaves will certainly have the funds to develop this idea to its full potential and get around any kinks.

Yeah I agree, it could be quite difficult to actually produce, but if it could be done it would be a stroke of genius!

It would be a very useful tool, especially if each hairstyle had products linked to it to help you create the style, and know it would look good on you.

I've seen these before and am always tempted to use them, but then the hair never sits naturally on my photo and it just frustrates me! If it could be done properly, it'd be great, but it would be really important to make it accurate, which would obviously mean more input from the customer - something a lot of people probably couldn't be bothered with.

Hi, I understand where you are coming from and also believe that to create a poor quality tool in general would have a negative impact on the Brand and maybe even make it come across as selling low quality products too.

Shockwaves I believe should develop this idea further however and I agree that they should ensure that it is high quality and works as it is meant to.

I agree that users may be put off spending too much time inputting information but given the technology which is currently available, I would be confident that it would be possible to offer a minimal input service which achieves brilliant results to get around this.

Hi, I really like this idea as it makes trying out new styles simple and risk free. It also sounds like a brilliant way to share ideas with friends and I really hope this idea is adopted.

Yay! I'm glad that you like this one! It would be interesting to see it enter the development stage...

intriguing.... the other option is the Dare2Hair idea... which takes the other extreme and makes the hair look ridiculously outrageous.... but it sounds like their is some appetite for trying out different hair ideas via web cam and nifty software.
