Shockwaves

What's 'appening?

As the digital landscape broadens and more people access information "on the move", I suggest that Shockwaves could create their own platform for social interaction in the form of an app that can be installed on a portable device. The launch of such an application would allow people to receive updates, access product details, publish posts and/or images whilst out and about instantly and stay connected.

Hi, I agree that Shockwaves would benefit from having an App and also, for them not to have an App may make them appear as "behind" and not very modern or innovative which is surely an image they want to avoid.

I think that this idea hasn't had a great deal of attention because it needs some more meat on the bones... so to speak. I actually discovered after this that Shockwaves already do have an app but it's pretty basic, I think that they just need to improve it to make it more of an interactive and social experience.

I think some of the best ideas can be basic ones and also some of the similar ideas can be valuable too due to the small, unique details they have.

I wasn't aware either that they had an App but the idea of it becoming more interactive and social sounds like it could make it much more appealing and shockwaves would have a lot to gain by developing it further.

Maybe it's more a matter of it advertising the one they've got? I didn't know they had one either! I think if it was advertised more they'd naturally receive more feedback on it and could improve it that way.

true but if it is basic and not that appealing, it might be better for Shockwaves to keep its existence on the low until the improvements are made and then advertise the hell out of it and show the world just how competent and attractive they are.

Good point. Make it better first, then show them how good it is!
I think the advertising may still be part of the problem though, given none of us knew about it.

Yes, I agree that it's definitely down to the advertising/marketing of it. Perhaps include an app logo to encourage people to install it on products, magazine advertisements and television commercials!? They definitely need to get the word out once they have upgraded it!
